Seeking after-school music teachers for St. Paul students
Music instruction is offered two days a week (either M/W or T/TH) at all elementary schools. Teachers could teach between 5-20 hours per week depending on availability and interest. Based on a school's start time, hours may be from 2:00-4:00 or 4:00-6:00. Teachers/instructors are paid for a total of 2.5 hours per school per day which includes a 30 minute prep.
EDL Music runs from October 21 through May 22 at most sites. Licensed teachers are paid $30.00/hour, and non-licensed instructors are paid $25.00/hour.
If interested in teaching EDL Music, email your resume to gina.engelking@spps.org.
If possible, also complete this EDL Music Teacher Interest Survey. It requests your preferences for schedule and location, as well as some of your professional information.
