Gig Opportunity: Paid Short Private Vocal Performances (Independent Contractors)

Gig Description

Voice and Venue coordinates short, private vocal performances for proposals, anniversaries, and small personal occasions.

We work with independent vocalists who are comfortable performing solo or with one accompanying instrument (e.g., guitar or piano). Performances are typically acoustic, respectful, and brief, focused on meaningful moments rather than large audiences.

This opportunity may be a good fit for students seeking:

Employment Type

Independent contractor (1099).
There is no guaranteed volume, no set schedule, and no term of employment.
Artists are contacted only when a specific request becomes available and may decline any opportunity.


Date & Time

Dates and times vary by request.
Most performances are scheduled evenings or weekends.
Typical performance length: 30 minutes.


Location

Primarily Twin Cities metro area (restaurants or small venues).
Artists are only offered opportunities within a reasonable travel distance, based on their stated availability.


Pay

Flat rate per performance.
Current range: $100–$150 per 30-minute set, depending on details.
Payment issued promptly after the performance.


Additional Details

  • Artists must be 18+

  • Artists should be comfortable performing in restaurant or small-venue settings

  • Acoustic performance preferred

  • Basic professionalism and appropriate attire expected

Interested singers may be asked to provide:

  • a short audio or video sample

  • general availability

  • preferred travel radius
